“I am extremely grateful for the very generous sponsorship from Evolution Equestrian. I feel honoured to be a part of their team for
2009 and hopefully continuing to work with them into the future.
My plan for this year is to continue to compete as often as possible whilst completing my year 12 studies at school. Doncartier and I will be competing at medium and advanced level this year, with our first advanced test being later this month. After finishing school this year, I plan to travel to Germany in 2010 to train and compete under the supervision of Hayley Beresford and Isabell Werth.”

Louise Holland
I started in the Show Horse discipline at the age of three doing official leading rein on a schoolmaster named Kinka. In 1999, we bought my first pony, Tyalla Nijinksky [Nudge] but as he was a large pony, he was ineligible to compete in lead rein pony classes, so we purchased Judaroo Fireworks. Sparkey was a wonderful pony and together we formed a great combination and won many Championships including Perth Royal, Show Horse Council and EFA Horse of the Years in both lead rein rider and pony classes. When I turned 8, I rode a 28 year old First Ridden pony called Flicka's Pride. Our greatest achievements were winning First Ridden Pony of the Year and Runner-Up Best Educated Small Pony in the State. Sadly, I outgrew this fabulous little pony and in October 2003, we purchased my large Galloway, Little Paddocks Vision Splendid [Perry] who I currently campaign. Together, we have formed a great combination winning numerous championships and Royal placings. We are also members of the EFA WA State Young Rider Squad in both 2006 and 2007. Our most recent achievement was winning Reserve Champion Junior Rider at Gosnells Masters 2007, qualifying me for my rider class at the 2008 Grand Nationals in Sydney. This has been my sporting goal and dream since I first started. A couple of months ago, we purchased Rosebank Simmer [Simmer] who I am currently training with the help of Judi Kopanica and Cheryl Pateman. With two horses in full work, school responsibilities and a very supportive family, I am honoured to be an Evolution Equestrian Team Rider.
